Kim’s Key Lime Cookies was created by Kim Harvey in 1994. Kim began traveling to Florida and then lived in Hollywood, Florida for a brief period as a teenager. She tested her first key lime pie at home at the age of 14.
After graduating from Indiana University, she eventually came up the idea of putting the taste of a key lime pie into an easily consumable cookie. Key lime pies were perishable and very difficult to transport or ship, so a smaller, non-perishable cookie version seemed like a great idea!
She then found a small baker to test her idea and flew to the International Fancy Food Show in San Francisco at The Moscone Center. She was placed in the ‘new product’ area of this huge trade show, where her products were discovered and purchased by Nordstrom LA, Macy’s NYC and Disney Vacation properties in Orlando, FL.
From there the cookies were ordered by Stein Mart nationwide, TJ Maxx/Home Goods/Marshall’s nationwide, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Paradies & WH Smith for every FL airport gift shop and so many more.
In 2024, Kim decided to expand her line and created a line of ‘key lime’ cocktails. Kim’s Key Lime Margaritas and Kim’s Key Lime Vodka Lemonades are now on the market and currently available at all IN Total Wine & More (TW&M) stores, with future placement into Big Red Liquors and more as well.
Kim's Key Lime Products & Cocktails are available for nationwide distribution into grocery, gourmet, resorts, airport gift shops, cruiselines and airlines.

Kim’s Key Lime products include but are not limited to; cookies dusted in powdered sugar, cookies dipped in white chocolate, pretzels and caramel corn dipped in key lime white chocolate, key lime cakes, key lime pies and key lime cocktails.
Expansion of sales of the cookies and alcohol into national and global distribution is currently being navigated in conjunction with the State of Indiana and various Indiana channels for global marketing and exporting.
